Travel Agency Accounting using Mesa2 with REXX Scripts Originally done by hand on paper these spreadsheets started in DOS Lotus 123 and were ported to SuperCalc5 and eventually Mesa2. Salesbook and Cashbook (for a travel agency) have gradually evolved over eighteen years as the business grew. This session will show an integrated collection of spreadsheets that are structured to meet the requirement of Canadian and Ontario legal and tax reporting requirements. Supporting dual, Canadian and American currencies these sheets rely heavily on Mesa2 scripts to ease the process of maintaining accounts and commissions receivable. Session attendees will be demonstrated the use of primary and secondary data entry, script creation and execution, and how to create formulas across multiple sheets to track expense accounts monthly and yearly.
A CDROM will be distributed with notes, sample MESA2.M2 files and a demo version of MESA2. Intended Audience: General OS/2 user interested in improving their power with MESA2.
